Buddy Holly in the minivan

Can we talk about the most amazing compilation album to hit my minivan this year? It was actually a gift from my beloved KCRW during their membership drive. The lady on the phone gave me a list of CDS to choose, but told me that the Buddy Holly was her favorite. So, or course, I took the bait and got this one (and a fabulous Mr. Brainwash sweatshirt. But that, my friends, is for another post).

Let’s just say…Paul McCartney, My Morning Jacket, Cee Lo Green. That is just SOME of the awesomeness to cover Holly. Wow. We just got back from a drive to Vegas and the boys were singing “It’s so easy to fall in love” on the tops of their lungs as we drove down the strip. Okay, I may have been belting alongside them.
