LEGO minifigures are weirdly addictive!

The boys spent their hard earned cash on the newest LEGO minifigure sets. This is edition four. For those of you without LEGO addicts, this is worth introducing your kids to.

How does it work?

Each figure (ranging from an artist to a garden gnome, and a whole bunch of other guys and gals thrown in for good measure) comes wrapped in a completely sealed pack making it impossible to know what you are getting. With Series 1 and 2, kids and LEGO lovin adults figured out how to crack the codes by comparing barcodes and numbers on the packaging. LEGO has become wise to these efforts, and the latest minifigures all share the same barcodes.

Fear NOT!

Some determined LEGOites have explained how to feel for the objects that you are looking for (ie: sword, hair, etc).

But, I have to tell you….The joy lies in the unknown. J-Man said that he wished for the artist by closing his eyes really tightly.

Suspense.

Realization.

Acceptance.

All in the span of a couple of seconds. These are powerful life lessons. Oh, yea. He got the artist.

*Thank you to Landis’ Labyrinth on Larchmont Blvd. for being so helpful and patient. ;) And Rite Aid for your restrooms.
