While wandering through Amoeba, I was intrigued by this:
I was fascinated by the cover art. I was not familiar with the artist, but Amoeba told me it was a limited edition, and I was curious. I bought it. I didn’t know how OBSESSED I would become.
Granted, I don’t read Japanese and all of the liner notes are in Japanese (although the song titles are in English, go figure!). But you know what? It doesn’t even matter.
The songs are so uplifting, I feel as though I am a bubble gaining momentum in a children’s playground. Except, this bubble never pops. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger, with laughter and love, and all of the other good things in life.
Shugo, thank you….for teaching me that the universal language of love is present in amazing music and talented musicians like yourself.

I wear my mom badge with pride, but it doesn’t mean I have to check my cool factor at the door. I love great music, amazing books, handmade toys, and sharing it all with you. Contact me at
